ASSESSMENT

If you are interested in or in need of a more direct and formal diagnostic evaluation and write-up to support ADHD diagnosis, please reach out for a free call to discuss. There are a variety of reasons to receive this level of assessment and documentation, but it may not be necessary. Let's talk about your needs and goals to determine what is best for you.For formal ADHD assessments, I utilize a combination of standardized measures and diagnostic interview. I administer the BDEFS and the DIVA-5. I also collect collateral information as available and necessary. I provide a formal write-up, which is thoroughly discussed with each client.
This process takes three (3) to four (4) 90-minute sessions.

ME

As a Licensed Counselor and Art Therapist, I take a person-centered approach and utilize motivational interviewing. I believe that each person is the ultimate expert in their own life. I assist clients in identifying and exploring their personal goals and values, and in living into them. As a neurodiversity-affirming therapist, I strongly believe that each person has numerous strengths on which to build, and I do not try to 'fix' people. I come alongside clients where they are and empower them to take steps toward thriving. I also take a holistic approach, recognizing the inseparable relationship between mind and body, and the importance of acknowledging and caring for both aspects of each person.
I provide space and support for clients to grow and flourish, even in the midst of difficulty or uncertainty.
I am fully licensed in Illinois and Colorado. I provide virtual sessions only.

You don't need to be an artist to benefit from Art Therapy! Creative expression is a means of exploring, processing, and communicating. It is a powerful tool for persons of any age, background, or area of growth. In Art Therapy there is no such thing as bad art.If art does not feel like the best fit for you, that is completely fine! I am happy to engage with you through talk therapy as well. I want to meet you where you are.
